In New York, local favorite Public School continued to refine its vision for contemporary American menswear. This meant sticking to a uniform for Spring/Summer 2016, an idea that was filtered through the duo’s signature sportswear-meets-street aesthetic. Using a color-coordinated, police-style lineup, the label’s cast of models provided a diverse canvas for its monochromatic looks — black, white and navy pieces that showcased a mix of impeccable tailoring, athletic references and Big Apple swagger. Riffs on bomber jackets, windowpane shirts and shorts, and long tailored coats were all standouts, as was Public School’s inclusion of several familiar faces — Nick Wooster, Waris Ahluwahlia, Luka Sabbat and recording artist Twin Shadow among them. .jpg" />
